Im not sure what they are, but I clipped mine of yesterday :D

I want to say I traced them back to a solenoid or something on the passenger side fender, and then to a charcoal canister though, so probably not important for actual operation.

I just put vacuum caps over the ends, I am led to believe all the engine really needs is the vacuum advance line to the distributor, the rest is mostly emissions control stuff.

I stripped out all of the vac lines on the passenger side of the bay yesterday but I left alone the rats nest of hoses on the side and back of the carb, I got confused tracking hard lines to vac lines then back to hard lines, I need to take a picture but there was a sort of C shaped length of hard line on the carb base that was nothing but an elbow I guess to hook the vac line around, it didnt make much sense to me.

If I can find a camera I'll take some pics of it.

Just dont disconnect the brake booster and you should be safe if not good at least lol but if you wanted to get rid of that too, you could go hydroboost out of an astrovan.
