Well, after a year and a half of head scratching and wrench throwing my 73 hilux is ready to pass inspection! except.... the state of New York doesn't think a brick is an acceptable substitute for an emergency brake! WTF! Does anyone have any leads they could throw my way? I only need a cable for the right rear, but i would love to replace both while i'm at it. after all of the work i've done to get my truck up and running it's frustrating to be held up by such a simple part. I was hoping my first post to this awesome and useful site would be some pics of my green machine, but as soon as i get her inspected i'm gonna finish up the paint job and take some pics for y'all. if you have a cable, or any advice feel free to drop me a line at: [email protected] Best Mark
i remember a guy broke his clutch cabel of his daihatsu rocky and used wire rope, shackel and Thimble & Clamp Set .And he had it on for about two year
YOU'RE IN LUCK!!! (assuming you have a short bed) i thought i threw out my cables, but i actually found them in the back of my 79 toyota.... forgot i had put them and the leaf springs in there
Great news Burnzya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do have a shortbed, and i will take 'em. you can e-mail me at [email protected] or lemme know how i should get in touch with you to move this forward. Mark
