Hey TMs , i got a question for you guys? I have a chance to pick up the driver and passenger doors and also the tailgate of a 93 standard cab pickup and they are all ready shaved(all the handles and mirror holes) for 80 dollars. Now my questioned is will 93 doors and tailgate fit my 94 standard cab pickup. Will they bolt right up?
89-95 is the same style parts. so yes, they'll fit perfectly. 4 door 4runner doors are the only ones that arent a direct swap. different length.
yea. Pick up doors are swapable between throughout the years. 4Runner doors are different at the top corner by the B pillar. Pick ups are rounded off at the corner, 4runners are just a 90 degree angle
thats what i thought, but my dad said a couple of guys at his work were saying that only 94,95 will work. so i was right, cool thanks and i will post as soon as i do the swap with some pics.
Well once again i need your guys expert advise....... what off of a 85 or 88 pickup 4wd will fit my 94 pickup?
You could use seats/console, drivetrain parts, the grille if you do some work, and wanna mess with people, not much body wise since they are different styles.
try http://www.4wdaction.com.au/forum/index.php there is plenty of guys using those early 90s 4x4s... they have late 80's aswell. Just ask if they will ship some over. I am 4-Before on that site if you need any recomendations... good luck finding what you need. Tom
Not much on there with poeple wanting to sell there bed. So if anyone out there comes across a 94 standard cab bed for a good price or if any one sees one at a junk yard then let me know? Thanks guys.
Whats a good shop or place to get carpet? I had got carpet online once for my honda accord but they shipped it in a box as small as a 36 pack of beer, when i took it out it was so wavy and wouldnt roll out . the bad thing was that it was supose to be pre molded already. YA RIGHT. So i dont want to make that mistake again with my truck. Any help
I'd still suggest online unless you want to lay the carpet out yourself from a roll. Lay out the kit you get in the sun all day before you put it in. And if needed, glue it down as you install it so it sits properly. Not like you're gonna need to take it out anytime soon.
Ya i hear ya, tryed that with my accord carpet but still was fudged up. So what do u think about putting some shaggy carpet in it ?
