Ok so I finally got me some side drafts. 4 barrel webber 45's, mikuni shorty 2 piece intake, insulaters, and 3 inch cones. I got these used. It did not come with linkage and dog bone only center pull linkage. Is anybody out there running this set up with a center pull? Please send me some pics of your set-up for ideas. This is my first time running sides so i'm kind of winging it. I'm fabricating the throtle cable mount and center pull pieces at my shop at work. So if any one has any advise for me I'd appreciate it.

I run side drafts but my throttle cable is on the end. If you do not have all of the parts for your center pull system check the various Webber internet sites or call L.C. Engineering in Arizona they can help you.

Don't know what type of linkage setup you have, but all the ones I have used can be configured to pull however and whichever way you pretty much want, just by moving the pivot rod forward and backwards, and positioning the lever arms to wherever you want them.
I run Mikuni sidedrafts on my 76 with a center pull setup, well slightly forward of center if you wanna get precise :D the cable pulls from the passenger side towards the passenger side, also run cruise control and it works fine.
I installed a pair of Weber DCOE's on an 85 pickup, used the stock cable setup and fabbed it to center pull from over the valve cover to the lever arm positioned on the bottom side of the pivot rod, it also worked fine.

Thanks for the help. I got it pretty much figured out. All I need now is an efi throttle cable and I'm done. That looks like a killer set-up btw.

Syncronizing is a must... Be sure to test the throttle cable action before connecting your fuel supply.

As for the linkage, if you dont have all the pieces u gotta get creative... I once used teflon coated cable fishing leader and copper tubing to extend my stock cable....

    Kruuuuk! Kruuuuuk!
