well I wanna see snow.. were going from either the 19 or 20th to the 30th... from tampa, to the following, in no particular order so far...raleigh north carolina, knoxville, gatlinberg tennesse, geneva alabama, back home... anyone know of anything cool to do in any of those areas ?!? or is there anywhere else with in reason to drive to ??? Im a little late on the planning but were just gunna wing it if all else fails lol..
i go up to the mountains every april and october to ride sportbikes. raleigh is not much too see, dont know anything about geneva alabama, knoxville is mostly a college town but nice, kinda like orlando USED to be. if you go to the gatlinburg area you wont leave there. there is more stuff to do there than orlando and tampa put together. great tourist destination and everyone there is very nice. the park road is closed in december connecting gatlingburg with cherokee but there is plenty to do in the valleys. if you like speed, and its not snowing, head south from knoxville to maryville and follow the signs to hwy 129 (the dragon), 318 wicked ass corners cutting thru a mountain, then follow 129 south to the cherohala skyway. blue ridge parkway is nice too. have a blast man!
You want snow go to Canada or Colorado!!! I know my aunt has like 32" already in here back yard of course she lives at like 8500 feet above sea level.
^+1. Going to Colorado tomorrow. 20hr drive in the truck... Snow is over-rated. The 34 degrees below zero will put hair on your chest... (coldest Ive ever been in)
