Im going to check out some 4runner parts for my front end this Sunday, and have a couple of questions about fitment. The guy I'm going to check out has the following parts off a 92 4runner. Fenders Parking lights Front Bumper w turn signals Bumper brackets Front grill First I was just interested in the bumper since the one on my truck is all dented and tweaked. From what I've searched the bumper is gonna stick out a bit with my 2wd fenders. Since he has the fenders I'm thinking of picking those up too along with the parking lights, but are they going to work with my stock headlights and grill? What do I need to get the 4runner front bumper and fenders to work with my stock 90 pickup grill and headlights?
buy everything he's got and you'll be good, if you buy only bumper/fenders/corner lights you'll be good as well.
Thanks for the help! I did a little more research and turns out the 4runner parking lights may not sit flush against my front grill. Looks like I might need some 4wd pickup parking lights. Either way it's probably a good idea to pick up whatever 4runner parts he has for a front end conversion. That way I can eventually do a full conversion.
So I installed some of the parts. I found out after the fact the bumper wasn't from a 4runner I decided to install the fenders, fender brackets, 4wd bumper and brackets, valance, and 4wd clear corners I picked up from minitoy. I kept the stock grill and headlights. Pretty happy with the outcome
