whats up everyone
so my 85 22re is leaking fuel from the fuel injection pressure damper.does anyone have an extra efi parts laying around i went to junk yards not to many toyotas around here in ga.auto parts store are asking $70 for this part.if anyone has this pls pm me.

 

The newer 22re's have a banjo bolt instead of the fuel pressure dampner, go to the dealership and get the banjo bolt with washers thats what I did and it didn't hurt a thing. Plus it was only like $8 bucks.

thanks alot the person where i got my fenders had the efi taken out and i was looking for it and didnt see it and like you say it only had a bolt and i was thinking that it was a whole different set up

 

i talked to the dealer and they told me that they dont sell the banjo bolt and told me to look around in the auto stores.do you happen to know the size i am looking or any other info that could help me thanks again

 

you should really only need the copper crush washers. i noticed on mine that the fuel rail has a little valve thing that leaks fuel if the pump runs but the engine don't.
