need a reasonable rebuilt 22re in So Cal

    I couldnt find one in socal but here is where i went. toyotatruckengine.com they are in colorado springs. they were the best price great warranty. very good product. I have almost 1000 miles on my 94 toyota with a v6. my mechanic was very pleased with motor. their number is 888-603-7101 talk to lulu or luke very knowledgeable. I am very happy I went with them

    i can tell you to avoid karking in ontairo at all costs. my engine lasted about a year (maybe 6k) and blew the head gasket. once it was apart they wouldnt warranty it because they didnt take it apart so they didnt know what "actually happened to it to cause it to blow". fact of the matter is, they used very crappy, cheap gaskets and it just didnt last. (i believe they were evergreen gaskets.) before you buy an engine or get yours rebuilt, find out what parts and gaskets the company uses and decide if you want them to do your engine work.

    theres a guy in moreno valley with pretty good pricing he pretty much swaps ur motor for a new one verry nice looking motors all rebuilt with some performance parts

    Was told that most all rebuilds are using Chinese parts, hence the short engine life!
    If keeping a stock engine go with a manufactured engine & ask what parts are used!!
    Or better yet go with a LC engine , I think they have a stock one ,through I command the Pro Street one . :cool:
