Can anyone tell me what a couple wires are, and if I need the little bolt/cover that is shown as well. All of these are on the driver side of the engine bay. Can I just get rid of this box and put a bullet connector on it? What ground is this? My truck runs awesome, and everything works. It's coming out of the harness from the passenger side I believe. Also, what is this little 2 prong ground? Same harness, a little further down the loom. Again...everything works. Also, anyone that has done work on their engine bays, where are you mounting your coil? I'm thinking about on my frame or on my firewall at the back of the motor maybe.
the one with the bolt is from the altenator. i just moved it, thats all makes for a good spot to and power for assories. the eye lid one is also for the charging system, its the ground. the prong one is a part for the eletric fuel pump.
eletric fuel pump? hm. don't have that. I may just re-route the little alternator cable, I don't really need that box. The eyelet, is that maybe why my battery light stays on, on the dash? Can I ground it to the block or alt bracket?
? Wire everything wired there are all on the driver side.the wire with the size 10 nut is the hot wire "batt" for the alternator, the wire with the eyelet is a ground wire needs to be grounded to the body, wire with lil box is a noise "sound" resistor for the coil.
