I've had these wheels sitting around now for about a year. I was in the middle of refinishing them for my Volvo, but I came across a set of 18" BBS wheels that were too good to pass up. They are AC Schnitzer knock-offs in 17x8, 5x120 bolt pattern ET35 offset. I've been trying to find out what the stock offset is on the steel wheels for my 93 2wd pickup without having much luck. I'm pretty sure I can run these with adapters, I just need to know what the stock offset is first. I know some of you are against adapters, but they are widely used on older RWD Volvos to run FWD offset wheels. I'm going to need 25mm adapters all around to fit the BBS on my wagon. I'd really love a set of Conquest TSI wheels, but they are really getting difficult to find. My other option is a set of Crown Vic meshes, but tire choices in 16" are pretty slim for a good tire, especially a 225/50/16. I think a 205/50/16 is going to be too small to run on a daily. I have that size on my Volvo now, but I really only drive that car once a month to car shows.
I've been looking for the stock offset on my steel wheels for about a month now with no prevail good luck. Best thing to do is just take them off and see if they have it on them if not just measure them.
