Why the rice can?... each to his own.

Anyway, I see you smoked your tail lights. I had that smoked, nonsmoked, smoked combo for a while.

looks like those wheels fitted pretty fine. you should get a spacer and make it flush.

yup they are smoked. and i switched my reverse lights with my blinkers so its alil different. also i do have .25" spacers on it. i want to get bigger ones like an inch with some 50 series tires. and for the fart can. it was a joke my buddies thought would be funny to do. at first it was really funny to have on it but no im waiting on some work with my dad to do a full exhaust till i can find a 7m around here

Like it was said earlier, to each his own, but it just seems like you have the painting process down, why not do the bodywork?? You just made more work for yourself. And how much overspray ended up on the white truck??

well the reason i painted it with out doing the body work first is because the old paint was horrible and i was impatient. plus the paint was just some left over black from another project so we painted it cuz my dad was getting pissy about me having a two different color truck parked in front of his house. and not much over spray got on the silver dodge. we took a squirt bottle and misted it with water so if any did get on it we could just wipe it off with a rag. and im really thinking on going and getting a cherry bomb tommorow after i get off work cuz the more i look at the rear end pics of my truck the more it bugs the **** out of me

Just have it exit under the truck with a turn down.

My truck is running factory stuff..

OEM mani, OEM frontpipe, OEM cat (gutted..kinda) and basically the leftover pipe that exits to the left of the vehicle at a 45 degree angle.

of course other members have tried different setups, but most don't like the "cat only" setup. I like the way mine sounds. except i have to admit, i'm louder than most ricers.

    good luck on the build.

that how my old 83 was. it was cool but with my 89 it has an o2 sensor behind the cat and before we did the exhaust we ran it up and down the street with about a foot long extention after the senser and it set my check engine light off. my truck came from cali and i want to take all the emission stuff off since we dont have emmision testing on anything older tha '94 here. there are so many sensor and wires that im not really sure wat to take off and wat to keep. also would i have to swap me ecu for a non cali one?

Most people in Hawaii run straight pipe right after the headers, (which they normally change) to a flowmaster using 2 1/4" piping. Most minis here sound similar. Everyone gots a flowmaster.

How does yours sound though cinnammon? I would assume its super loud and hollow? I was thinking about doing that but my dad says thats a negative

I think the exhaust makes it look fast even though you don't have any stickers. :D

But seriously, I kinda like it.

lol i think that if it wasnt angled so damn much the it would be cool. but if im going to rework it i might as well just go and get a cherry bomb cuz the can is really hacked up from it being on a few different cars

Cherry Bombs are cheap! And really allow that distinct toyota sound to wail through. LOUDLY. The only thing I really don't like bout cherry bombs, rice cans, or straight pipes, Is how bad you get Bird Dogged by police especially at night,....always feel like I'm tip-toeing trying to be quiet going through towns. :looney:
