I've got a **** load of questions on the board, may as well just make my own thread. Right now I am still lost on fuel lines. I have no clue what goes where, as the guy who took it apart, didn't label **** to put it back together. if I take a few pictures, maybe you guys can help. I have two lines that run zig zag below the cab, they go towards the tranny then turn back to the back, then back out to the frame rail, then straight back again. Then theres two others I believe. One is probably a break line I no longer need since we got rid of the proportioning valve...ANY ideas?
right, i tried doing that, i dont have gas in the tank other than maybe a gallon and all it did was blow air out all three ports. I'm almost positive the vent line is the one off the tank, not the pick up. and i found the pull/push lines under the cab and got them figured....but just cant figure out the tank.
i started the motor for a few seconds and i just wanted to make sure the smoke coming out of the exhaust side of the motor is normal haha. its more than what came off my ford when i started it but i do have a brand new manifold and cover...
anyone have pics of how they mounted different seats? i know a bit of toyota seats moun directly but i already have some honda seats id like to use.
either i'm stupid, the truck is magic, or the elec fan is magic. I want to wire my fan to run at all times right now until I can afford a thermostat relay setup deal. I found (what I think is) a wire that has no power with the key turned back, and power with the key turned forward. It comes off the ignition, its like a brownish red with white stripe and goes to a harness connection and turns white with red stripe. DMM says i'm good to go. Wire it up with little splice connections and boom....constant power at all times, key on and off. Did I look past something or what....
i would just make sure that the wire could handle the amps pulled by the fan. or maybe splice a wire in and run it to a relay. then wire the fan to the battery.
ill see if i dont have my old relay still. just why is it getting constant power if it's not actually constant power haha. the dmm reads 00.0 and then 11.4 (need to charge i know) but yet it ALWAYS has power.
well i dont know if the relay is bad or not but i have a 5 prong bosch style with 85/86/87/87a/30. I have 85 grounded, 86 on switched, 30 with constant jumped to 87a, and 87 is to the fan. Is this not right? If not...what should it be? i've also connected only 87 and only 87a. i've also grounded 85 with switched on 86. none of this works and seems like all these diagrams i find are different.
