So I believe it's time to get my build thread going.
Purchased the truck for $500 from a family friend.
Was dumping antifreeze into the oil. Thinking I know everything I rebuild the 22RE using Engnbldr kit. Starts and runs fine but still dumps antifreeze into the oil. Do some research it was just the timing cover. Buy a new one and good to go.
Fast forward two months of daily driving I rear end some idiot that is high and stops short on me. My driver side fender is Royally F'd as well as my bumper and grill.
So I decide to do a re rebuild,

    DDM 6k HIDS
    [IMG]
    Window visors
    [IMG]
EGR block off plates and 4runner clock and new H4 Conversion Headlights
    [IMG]
    Alpine IDA-X200
    [IMG]
LEDs for my cluster and climate control.
Pics will be updates shortly. Waiting on New fender and New 92-95 grille and 92-95 4Runner bumper.
Gonna install DJM LCAs, 3in blocks, remove middle leaf and flip overload when the weather is right here in CO. Going to get 6-12in of snow this weekend. :(
    Any suggestions please feel free

The smaller LEDS are 74 bulb. I just put 74 LED on eBay and bought a random one for a cheap price.
And the larger ones for the cluster are a 194 bulb. Same thing off of eBay. I will post a review of them once installed if anyone likes.

question why do you have the pair valve block of plates why not just remove it all? there's really no need for it, but remember to thread the bolts back in the back side of the head or it will leak oil

Am I missing a plate? I think on my engine all I have left is those two valves if I remember correctly.

Any suggestions on the color I should paint the truck?
Trying to keep it blue do I dont have to re-register. Just looking for a nicer blue something lighter or maybe a candy? Metallic?

when removing the egr and pair valve (adds air to the cat caused by a venterive effect from the exhuast)

any who there is no reason to have them if you are adding in none smog header

but if you have a stock manifold then yes you will need the plate that goes at the back of the head

So I fixed my engine. I bent a couple of valves when I first tried to start it up after the rebuild but while I was at it I decided to powder coat some stuff.. Came out great kind of wish I would have applied more powder since the parts kinda of scratch easily. (well if the parts hits something)

Actually its off the jacks just drove it around the block.. :headbang: Waiting to do body work and paint it next month stoked about that.

I also bought some Starion wheels here locally. Guy gave me five.. Thre fronts Two rears. 16x7 Fronts 16x8 Rears...

Anyone know if I can use aftermarket lugs on these wheels? I want to buy these? If anyone knows that would be great <a href="http://s889.photobucket.com/user/EatMyVtec/media/IMG_1218.png.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac98/EatMyVtec/IMG_1218.png" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_1218.png"/></a>

I have those lugs in black for my Xxr rims didn't fit do to the small lug hole socket so I used them on my f body .. So long as the starions don't have a deep lug hole and is conical/ tapered pitch should be alright .

And there aluminum so don't hulk out on them when torquing them down
