I think this car would run in the mid to high 8s in the 8th mile, and maybe mid to high 13s in the quarter, nothing crazy impressive but I dont have much money in this car, I technically paid 350 for the car.

    -324cc injectors
    -nistune ecu- 170
    -89 clutch lsd- 150
    -bad clutch- priceless
-1988 maxima intake emissions and egr welded up- 11
    -no intercooler- free
-160k on engine from parts car 7.8:1 compression- paid 200 for the parts car
-bad valve seals, turbo oil seal going out- free+price of oil
-maxima 90 amp alt.- free from my brother, <best thing I ever did, not more dead batterys.
-Cobra R wheels 245/40/zr17- 400 after rims and tires
    -car weighs 2800lbs

This car needs work here and there like the glove box is broke, interior is junk, I dont care, I love it for what it is and I don't have much money in it. Once my truck is on the road this car will get all my attention. I have a big turbo, bigger injectors, stronger transmission, that its waiting for, I need to buy a clutch though that will hold the power. On 10lbs people with stock 300zxs are getting 300+torque, Im running 11lbs with upgraded fuel system, so who knows what mine is making, doesn't matter what you make if it cant be put to the ground. I would run 13-15lbs but the clutch started slipping at 11 so I quit turning it up. My old 300zx I ran 15lbs on it stock for 3 years beating the crap out of it, the side of the piston gave out at 260,000 miles then I quit driving it like a month later LOL.

Yeah I havnt found a sports car I like more than it, I think the closest was a 240sx with a rb20det in it, but it felt cheap for some reason, the Z feels more planted on the ground even with its "worse" suspension design.

Ive never driven or riden in a celica/supra, I have riden in a 3rd gen supra, and did not like it, too wide, felt hugeee.

    I think if i did not have a 300zx, id have a 240sx coupe or convertable 90s 300zx...

But ill update this as I work on my car, should be some interesting stuff once it get warmer... nothing crazy, just what I can do for cheap with a welder and pipes(turbo manifold), I have a 80 tercel, 73 truck, 3 300zxs, trying to buy a 70s corolla, or a 1980 starlet soo a lot on my plate... once I get out of school and get a job(lol) ill be able to afford the 5 cars I have.

Well a rb20 isn't too much to get excited over lol Your 300 is pretty nasty though. Not everyone wants to rock those even though they have tons of potential. I like it.
