a family friend owns a glass shop, and they are going to cut it when i'm ready for it. the contour is the same since i quartered the roof, so it just needs the top cut from the glass. i'm going to get a lexan window for the rear, and i will probably get the side glass made(most likely of lexan). i heard the tempered glass can be sanded down but i haven't looked into it.

about the only thing i would want to be sponsered on is some rims, i plan on building everything myself (even though it will take time/cost a fortune) and putting my name on the back. then the little brother cruises around the busy city and is like a rolling billboard. my wife is done with her RN in december, then i actually get to quit my job and just work on trucks:D (or crappy cars). i hate lambo doors but a guy wants me to do them, so i will. then another guy has a mustang with 768 h.p. and wants a cage built. then another guy has a '99 mazda b-3000, and he wants bags and a body drop. i have been waiting four years for her to be done with school so i'm getting pretty excited.

You will not be able to have the side windows sanded down.you can sand tempered very lightly, but that's just to fix a rough edge and has to be done wet and at low speeds.
Are you changing the shape at the top of the window? usually you just roll the window up to the new height.

no, the way i quartered the roof keeps all the angles the same. the window rolls all the way up, but there is about a 2" gap at the front of the window. thanks for the info on sanding the glass, i didn't think it would work in my application. i know on the 89-95 yotas you can chop it 2" by leaning the posts and keep the stock glass. on the sides you just have to move the slide for the glass a little. i prefer a quartered chop, over leaning the posts. i think leaning them makes it look goofy.

so megaglowz .. there is no way to cut Tempered glass .. right ?

dang .. I'd chop the crap out of my sh!t .. if I could find a way , or cut glass .. I know of the heat , and cutting of the windshield .. and feel confident I do do that .. but the side glass , and rear is an issue .. lexan is not an option for me ..
