New to the site, and wanted to share my build with you guys.

I got this Truck from my Grandfather, who bought it new in 86. Unfortunately, he didn't take GREAT care of it. The truck sat in his drive way for 4 years, and people helped them selves to some parts off of it. The Master clutch cylinder has a leak, that destroyed the flooring kit that was in it, so that is gone. Have the new clutch parts, just need to get the money to have someone put them in for me. I didn't get any pics before we did the "Drop", but it is 3" blocks in the back, and a Torsion drop in the front.
Replaced the Driver side Fender. and Gutted the Interior. Replaced the Thrashed Bench, with some 96 Accord Buckets (Pick-A-Part) for $48 for the pair.

Anyway, here are a Few Pics:

Yeah, kinda..... I saw a guy on here post about it. It is called "peel-n-seal" I got it at Lowes, and it is pretty damn close to Dynamat, at a fraction of the cost. We got a roll for $8.99..........It is in the window department. we still have about 6 feet left.

    Thanks for the comments guys,
    Brad

Your trucks looking good. Brings back memories for me, excatly like my old truck, (a few trucks ago, sold it in 94) same year and color and lowering style. I had 15x7 Weld pro stars on it with 205/50's, I had a-lot of good times in that truck, went through about 3 different types of shells on it, thought about doing a walk through but it never happened, I believe that is coming back in style if I'm not mistaken, history always repeats itself, love that saying, so true! Wish I would have taken more pictures oif it, but back then it was not as handy as having a small digital in your pocket or on your phone, those were not around yet, damn I'm old LOL.

    Good luck with your build.

To answer the questions about the "Peel-n-Seal" it seems to work. Just finished the whole Cab tonight. We had to wait to change out the Hydraulic Clutch Cylinder, because it was Leaking into the cab, and all over the floor board. We changed that out today, so we finished the cab. We cut out the Muffler, so Can't really tell how well it works, but I am sure it will be just fine.
Finished the sound deadening, and carpeted the cab.
Getting the Alarm put in tomorrow, and then, we are gonna concentrate on the Stereo.

Here are a few pics of the work we did today:

My Dad went and got the Remote put in today.
It has the capability of adding auto door locks, hopefully in 2 weeks. the alarm was $140 installed.

He got some Grey and Blue Vinyl from Joanns, so the door panels and dash are the next project.

sweet muffler. maybe rotate the tip so the angle cut goes with the length of the truck? i do know that i used to get hassled a bit more for speeding around when i had a visible exhaust tip. sometimes in traffic a cop cant tell whos vehicle is loud and they look for large tips as it usually ends a loud exhaust. so i tuck all mine up these days or use a grungy old section of pipe for the dump :p its a good sleeper trick
