i say just ask a local shop if they have a random factory muffler off some car that you can just take for free (scrap metal, that's what my friend told me it was, gave mine free)

Ya but I need to get it fixed anyway I'm just runnin straight cat right now an don't feel like more tickets I've been lucky enough now. I'll have to go by the local exhaust shop an see how much they'll charge for the muffler an to dump it.

^ thats what I would do to save money. other wise go to the junkyard and get a stocker or buy one at your local auto parts which range between 20-60 bucks.

Mine was to loud and didnt want to get pulled over period. Which is why I installed 2 glass packs and a borla muffler last night :D Purrs like a kitten...till the 50mm wastegate opens lol.

I ran straight cat for a while, it was a bit too obnoxious being in an urban enviroment lol.

Yup, I got a theoretically Civic Si muffler or Prelude muffler.
    2.25" inlet, dual 2"? outlets.
under my bed, low pro (like if its EVER visible)

But yeah, having a quiet ride that sounds good when WOT is always nice.

I'll just go in on Friday to a local guy an see how much cuz it has to be tucked up in the frame more so when I lay out the front it won't smash the exhaust

find a little rag tag muffler shop(make sure they know what theyre doin first) with performance mufflers layin around and have em slap one on for ya. here in conway theres a place called "country cousins" they had a magnaflow layin around, he charged me $80 to cut out the cat, buy the muffler and install it...boom... thank you southern hospitality. :) sounds really good for a four banger too

although if this is not possible where you are....the just read the above post.. good ideas too
