OK, so this may not be the very most urgent thing on the list -- nevertheless, I want OE-style standard mudflaps for my 88 longbed 2wd truck. Japanese-built bed (multi-section with seams) if that makes any difference. Are they available anywhere? Could I even just get a picture of what they looked like? The mounts are there, ready to go. I don't want chrome girls or Yosemite Sam -- just genuine Toyota pickup mudflaps. Can you help?

Good luck on your search. I was in your exact situation recently. I don't think OEM mudflaps exist unless they are used (and usually beat to hell) or you can wait for that one guy who has a new old stock set. And they will cost an arm and a leg. I bought a set of an ebayer recently. Not OEM, but very heavy and sturdy. They go for $150 plus shipping. Got a set of the metal brackets from a member here and had them powder coated. Just installed the rear set today. Very happy with the results.
