MPG with sidedrafts ???

    Well I put my truck on the road, and killed 13 gallons in less then 2 days, probably got like 10mpg ? I dont know my cluster died on me. Anyone know how to set weber 40s up to get decent mpg ? Right now im sure im running rich, but how do you know when its rich lean or perfect and how to change it ??? also looking to buy a working cluster non auto no tach, just temp,mph,gas. thats all.

    What idle and main jets are u running?
    40mm Mikunis on a 2.0 Mazda got like 15 mpg - i think mainly cuz it's hard to keep ur foot off it - SOUNDS GREAT!!!

    thats what I was gonna say, new toy syndrome, gonna be hard on the pedal with those under the hood lol

    I got a best of 18.88 on a trip over the mountains for Christmas and we averaged 17.93 I think it was with a single 45dcoe and I drive like an ass to boot. :lol:


    I REALLY want a set of duals... :drool:
