K so I fixed the frame rot and I am just about ready to mount the bed back on. Originally the lines didn't match from the bed to the cab as the bed was to low. It was mounted on square rubber pads with no shims so my question is are the pads crushed and need to be replaced? If so were can I get them from? If they just get shimmed what do you guys use as shim material.

    Cheers Steve

The rubber pads are so it doesnt sqeak. You could try using more pads but I would use a big round or square washer or shims. If you got a drill then make your own shims out of scrap steel or something.

ya just shim it up and make sure there is rubber somewhere in the combo or else you gonna have a squeeky bed every time you hit a bump.
