Ok..This what i got after 2 weeks of doing this. I bought a 22RE to put in my 86 yota. I converted the 22RE to the 22R...Well as most know the cam does have the roller for the mechanical fuel pump..I bought a holley blue.. im only getting 2 to 3 psi...checked all the lines, no cracks or leaks... is there ANY vac lines i need to cap off?? and if possible could someone send a pic of there vac lines next to the carb, the little diagrams on here are JUNK..iv also notics 4 lines from the tank...two on top and two going else where...iv hooked the pump in place of the fuel filter, still 2-3 psi....i now have it hooked to the line coming from the bottom upward towards the carb..still 2-3 psi...the pump will put of 14 psi when connected to a test bottle.....so please could someone at least show me if im connected to the RIGHT IN gas line? This would be awesome if someone could help, thanks!

Was your truck an 22RE truck?

If it is, your trying to suck fuel thru the original fuel pump. :doah:

If its originally a carb'ed truck, Some kind of clog or kinked line.

I put a summit racing pump (a holley rebadge) on my truck a year ago, brand new it was louder than crap. It had amazing flow right out of the box and did 14 psi. (I had a firewall mounted regulator). Ran it for like 2 weeks. Then kept it a year, tried pumping with it, but it was locked up.

    Trash...

I unhooked it and ran a facet cheapy vibrator pump (right near the tank), and its the best thing ever. Quiet, 15 bucks, and more than enough gas.

My tank has 2 fuel lines and a couple of vapor lines. The fuel lines have one feed and one return. The slightly bigger is the feed. Mount the pump near the tank. Plenty of amprage wire (like 14 guage) and a 30amp relay.

They take alot of juice for some reason. Whats the voltage at your pump when its running? Possible problem right there.

Hope you can get something out of that, Kinda went off there...
