I read in a thread where twisted minis was offering to take stock lcas and modify them creating lowering lcas. Im on a budget and can weld so would someone describe or outline the basics of how i need to modify my stock lcas to get like a 2-3 inch drop Thanks
I just got DJMS not too long ago...i was comparing to the stocks, and thinking about how easy it would be...to even make your own from scratch! I went to Wyotech and in my Chassis Fab. class our instructor gave us blueprints on just about anything you could possibly imagine fabbing up...including a complete Mustang 2 IFS front suspension..tubular control arm jigs ANYTHING!! But yah lol..i can post a pic of the two side by side...give u some ideas.
Wyotech sounds like a good school ive been looking around for places to further my automotive education i will definatly have to look into it! And that would be so helpful I would apreciate it alot! If everything goes well and they end up working good ill post a how to on the forum so other low budget minitruckers can go low without sacrificing ride quality.
Wyotech and uti and stuff are pretty cool but most of these automotive courses at community colleges are a lot cheaper and you can learn just as much. I guess they don't have auto fab but they usually have like collision repair and automotive tech. Honestly lets face it you spend all that monry at wyotech and it doesn't get you all that far in my opinion. That was my justification to not go cause i thought it was the coolest thing to go to uti or wyotech when i was in highschool
