Metal Thickness

    Just curious.... What size thickness 2x4 square tubing should I be using on the Notch? 3/16"?? The guy at my metal shop only has 1/4" thick in stock. I figured that was too thick and cost too much for what I need it for. Any suggestions are open.

    I use 3/16". Id also go with 2x3 should be cheaper and thts all you need

    Mines 2x4 1/4". And was a mother to cut and weld in.

    i use 2x3 .120 wall tube when it's going on a minitruck.
