I've been looking into getting a megasquirt unit and a ford EDIS setup for my 91 yota. I want to turbocharge it and have been told this is the best option. and the price is right. Looks like i can do it for around $500. Just wanted some opinions on megasquirt on a 22re. Or if there are any hidden cost with the megasquirt?

You don't need the EDIS. The megasquirt will talk to the stock distributor to retard under boost.
