Hey,

is there an easy way to make the corners the turn signals like most cars instead of the bumper lights?

And possibly make the bumper lights daytime running lights?

 

if you search toyota 4x4 sites , you'll find many threads on this , yotathech.com has a pile of threads .. do some searching , i'm sure you'll find what your looking for

No problem you can either just wire them as blinkers only or cut the grounds (white with black stripe) off of both the corner and blinker lights and connect the green wire from the blinker to the ground side of the marker socket. That will make the light work as both a blinker and marker. It will blink a bit faster but that's a simple fix requiring a removal of a resistor from the factory blinker module.

I did this used a 194 bulb but had trouble seeing it blink ran the wires from the bumper signal lights

 

good idea, id just swap the wires to power the lights so you get bumper lights on with headlights, and turn signals to the corners. it would make you be a lil more original, but not everyones favorite idea.
