Hey what thread pattern are the lug nuts? I just put some new rims on my truck but the old lug nuts are really long and I want to find something shorter. Anyone have any good links? Black or chrome, doesn't matter.

12X1.5mm. It's a matter of preference as far as color of the lug nut. I currently have black lugs on polished wheels but it would look good with chrome.

I bought some Mazda 6 rims. The old lug nuts were hidden under the center cap of my SR5 rims. They are about 2" long and stick out too much so I want something a little shorter and didn't know what to look for on Ebay. Thx Fokai!

What style of nuts are you looking for?

In terms of length... If it's acorn style there is no such difference in lenghts (maybe different between brands) but, if it's a shank style they have 3 different lenghts i know of and tried...

    1. Factory Toyota shank is about 1/2" from lug head to the tip. (commonly found on the camry, avalon, lexus sedans with alloy wheels).

    2. Mag style is about 3/4" (commonly used on most one piece classic mag wheels).

    3. SST style is about 1" (commonly found on light weight 3 piece wheels ie weld, centerlines, etc...).

There are some longer shanked ones out there but, I've never experienced using them... Hope this helps... :waytogo:

To be honest I'm not sure. I think these are the "acorn" style ones. I'll take a pic and post it tomorrow.
