anywho...i found a nice 77' long bed 5speed a while back, and shes been my daily, and for 324000 + shes runnin strong.

things iv done so far...
nice four post battery w/960 cold amps and new +/- leads
interior wht LEDs(dome, and strip under the dash passenger side)
tune the hole in my muffler
three new tires
upgraded shocks in the back(got rid of a lot of roll)
speakers (4)
deck
head lights
wax
gas
oil
gear oil
silicone lube
rust reformer for the passenger side floor pan(works good when you dont have much time... just scrape, steel brush, vac, clean, coat)
blah blah

things i will do...

level out the rear suspension
modify and install rear sway control bar from bronco
do some mellow flange back exhaust
install wires, plugs, cap, rotor, and points(any advise on setting them?) that i have
get two more tires...i like the wheels and 205/75 tire size
a little body work
front rancho shocks?
new bushings
other suspension upgraddes? (with two d's)
second battery
wall plug
camper shell(for camping)
integrated amp/sub out of some factory car
more lights(i like working on my truck at night, sometimes the only time i have)

desired out come...
a restored/factory tuned look and feel...
dirt road and freeway compatible(lower/stiffer, but not to restricted)
maybe a little autocross(i dont need to win) maybe a little pre-runner(i dont need to "crawl" or romp, just like to go camping and drive fast...but dont mind going slow over ruts or ruff trails)

So heres what im thinking...prerunner Robin and LS V8/full tube frame "hot rod" Lucy? Maby the only two trucks that can be parked one on top of the other that are the same body style and owned by the same person.

 

But they would have to both be extreme for that to work...

 

i recommend just extending the bedsides. it's much easier. i've also built a doored truck and it was a major pain in the butt lol.

did you scrap it? i'd love to find an original drivers front fender in decent shape. mine is a reproduction and fits like crap.

 

naw it was a 81 anyway...it "disappeared" says my roommate, so he just paid me for it...whatev. this new truck is sweet!
