Lucas trans oil

    Has anyone used lucas trans oil for their vehicles.
    if so i wanted to know what was the results?

    im debating if i should use this in my automatic trans when i change the fluid and filter

    where i used to work we used lucas products in all of our fleet equipment (big rigs). stuff is pretty good!

    I used it in a 700r4 shortly after the pump blew out, I'm not shure if it was related but I still use the oil treatment in all of my engines, the auto trans is very delicate, be carefull of additives. I would use just sythetic fluid.:waytogo:

    Used to use it a lot (Lucas Oil Additive) in other vehicles I've owned, and it seemed to do no harm.

    But I'd stick to REDLINE for the tranny if the usual stuff doesn't satisfy you.

    Kinda pricey, but well worth it in my humble opinion.

    I have used it in manual transmission on a ton of toyota vehicles and a few other cars/trucks that ive owned and works very well. I have some Lucas heavy duty gear oil in my rear diff now and works wonders. I've never messed with using it in a auto transmission. But like Evolmotorsports said, autos are touchy so only put in what you know will work well.
