Hey fellas, could anyone give me some tips on the best way for lowering the tub and still ensuring I can still have a fairly smooth ride? A cheaper option would be great while i save to get air bags. I tried flipping the leaf springs but the diff was riding on the bump stops which I had previously shortened, this made the back end have no suspension and ride rough as :/ I then flipped them back and took out overload springs which made it smoother but as high as it was before I flipped them, I just would love having the tub at least as low as I had it in the photos I uploaded (orange ute in gallery) but ensuring I can still have a little suspension. Heard of having leaf springs reset is this a good option? Help would be much appreciated cheers

I awesome you are asking about dropping the rear?
When I rode static dropped I ran:
2'' dropped springs & 2'' angled blocks, rode good ,but would hit the pumpkin against the frame,so did the notch earlier than was going too!
    At the front I ran:
2''dropped spindles & turned down torsions & I do run shocks
Ride height was & is 4.5'' @ the frame & was then & is now great!

Thanks mate, and yeah wanting to drop the rear. Just wondering so when you say you rode with 2" dropped springs did you take them out? And what are angled blocks? Just new to slot of these methods and equipment haha

I think you'll have to do a notch to get it that low.

The dropped springs I used I ordered from AIM, Beltech also has them. They are a full spring pack!
The angled blocks keep the pinion angle correct so as no binding @ the drive line!
The notch is a section of the frame directly over the axle that is removed & boxed in so the axle can travel farther up with out hitting. Some people cut a C-section out on the bottom of the frame to get a small amount of clearance!
If you are going to bag it @ some time & run larger wheels ,then a larger notch is in order, & a 8 piece one is better because you can weld inside the plates as building it!

No, it isn't really. Beefed Taco may have a bolt in notch that would be really easy to install, but a small notch would do what you want.
