Stock mighty Max springs give about a 2" drop. 2" drop springs give about 4". They ride very similar to stock. I've had drop coils for both and hardly notice a difference.

Hey tylerzettner I am lowering my Toyota this weekend im just going to loosen my tortion bars if you do it too much you may get quite a bit of camber if you want to go about an inch then you will be okay 2 1/2 inches more require a camber kit or special spindles or you will eat up tires pretty fast. Hope this helped.

78 and earlier are coil spring up front (no torsions)

Curtis! Haven't seen you around these parts in ages! I go right past your street on the way to work now. I saw the blue truck in your driveway one time I passed by.

Anyways, you could get MM drop coils. And then you have the stock springs to either cut for a slightly different ride height, or you can swap to stock if need be.

As for the camber statement, I had a 92 I dropped about 4" up front using all torsion adjustment for drop. That was about 7 years ago, but the camber was very mild. I never ate tires at an exceeded rate. My 78 on the other hand has about an 8" front drop. I have some major negative camber, but I also have a thick stack of shims between the upper control arm center shaft and the spring pocket. It's mounted on the inside of the pocket, so shims ADDS negative camber. Typical layouts, shims REMOVE negative camber.

Hope this helps buddy. Post some pics when you're done.

Hey! Yeah. The truck has been mostly a trash hauler, of late, and I haven't had the time to do much work on it, so I haven't been around the site much. I plan on changing that, though. I've been missing this place. We should hang out sometime soon. The truck isn't really cruise worthy with the leaky gas tank right now, but I'm looking for excuses to take it for short drives here and there...
