OK this is my game plan is to have truck that handles really well and lowered roughly 3 inc's from stock so the idea thus far is to choose spindles or drop arms for the front as for the rear (installing a mk2 supra lsd) blocks? wail retaining over load since wheel hop is rather gay and still can haul some weight bell tec lowering leafs not sure how these handle? but if they handle good I can all ways make a wrap bar and further more how much weight can be put in the back with these leafs 4x4 torsion bars are what is the spring rate difference ? same goes for the sway bay v6 2wd and can a 4x4 v6 be swapped in and any idea how much bigger they are ? alot of questions I know but that all I really wana know for now Thanks
2wd 1-ton torsions and sway bar up front with drop spindles drop leafs in rear with 4runner sway bar (will require some modding of course) upgrade dampers all around.
also i think enemy used the supra spindles. if i remember right they give you and inch n a half drop and u have the option of bigger brakes. also as torsions go i dont thing the 4x's will work. try a sway away or other aftermarket bar.
If you do all correctly it will handle just fine! When I was static dropped my handling was great ,as is now with it bagged!! 2'' dropped Beltech spindles, & turned down torsions , 2' dropped springs w/2' angled blocks ( had to do my notch early as hitting badly)! And run good shocks that are correct for the amount of drop! Also have Quckior sway bars front & rear ( front one is off now because of the tubular a-arms) Have to get it remade!
Don't forget tires and wheels, a wide set of wheels with sticky tires will make a world of difference.
well I have tire issue figured qestion thou how does the bell tec drop leaf handle? I plan to do a slider shackle with them as well since they are way better then stander swing shackle
