so im brand new to the forum (as of about 5 mins ago) and had a question about lowering my '77 yota pickup. ive used the search and have come up with 76's, 78's, 81's...but no specific threads focusing on just the '77. from what ive gathered, each year is specific in how to be tuned so i would appreciate any expertise on the matter. i would like to lower the truck about 2-3" all around and am already planning on purchasing new shock absorbers and struts..are there any lowering spring kits that can be found for this year/model? or am i going to have to resort to cutting the springs? this is my daily driver so i would prefer it to be as comfy as possible while maintaining a race/ go cart style feel. and if i do decide to cut the springs..i am aware that the ride will become more "bouncy"...is it possible to reduce the bumpiness?

lowering a 73-78 is the same.

no kits available besides a universal block for the rear. you'll need to cut the coils, or search until you find some that will fit and provide the drop you want (then post what works for everyone else :D )

    welcome to the forum!
