So my drivers side lower control arm is pretty, but not completely, fucked. Besides a pick'n'pull or junkyard what are my options? It looks like there used to be a guy that made tubular ones under the name CanDo but it appears to be gone. There are some Moog and Dorman options with built in ball joints that look similar. I can't seem to find anything on Rockauto or Partsgeek. Any ideas?

Loool yea i feel your pain. Mine are powder coated and scraped to hell. The design of these front ends is terrible for lowered situations.

let me check if i have an extra control arm. I had a whole front subframe and i used some parts for mockup when i was bagging my truck.

all good, thanks for checking! I’m sure I can pull one from the junkyard but I’m also tempted to fab up my own. Got a Harbor Freight welder and feeling dangerous.

It’s not too bad but the front hole has been warped so it’s kinda oblong and no longer round which is introducing some play. Nothing crazy but I’m tempted to try to weld something up.

Yea that cross shaft end cap threads into the control arm. If that shit is oblong its only a matter of time before theres a total failure
