most of the time the truck will start and run but some of the times the fuel relay loses power i cant figure out why it causes the truck to just sit and turn and turn because it isnt getting any fuel its pretty aggravating and embarrassing so if anyone has had this problem help me out....

Have you checked how much power is at the fuel pump? i mean how do you know you aint getting enough power did you test it? I would think of the bat its your fuel pump period. its not often you will get power then lose it in seconds. I mean i could be wrong. check all fuses, relays most important.

Get a multimeter and go to your fuel pump and check how much power if any is going threw. Another way would just be to disconnect your fuel line and turn the truck key to on but not start it up and see how fuel is pumpin out.

    Hope this helps.

My truck has done what yours is doing now & it was the fuel pump going bad, but it could also be a bad fuel filter as well.

Do you know for sure it's the relay? If it's dropping out intermittently, I'd try a replacement and check to see if it's getting 12 volts to the coil. Old age, rust, etc., could be causing bad connections, especially the ground connections. Check with a meter, if the voltage is low and the battery is good, there's resistance in the circuit somewhere. Applying low voltage to a coil for any period of time will burn it up, so change the relay too, even if cleaning the connections works for you.

at first i thought it was the ignition coil bc u could stick a screw driver in the spark plug wires and arc it on the block and the truck would start so i replaced the entire ignition sparkplugs to the ignition module that didn fix it so i replace the fuel pump and fuel filter so i spent around 500 dollars and the truck still aint fixed
we hooked a meter up to the fuel relay on the power side coming from the battery and somewhere it is losing power iv chased down the wire and replaced it im getting fed up with the truck and ready to sale it if anyone is interested im asking 5500 dollars for it just plated the frame with 3" 1/4" steel so let me know
