But still want to retain them. Does anyone know what cars had the sprayer/squirter attached the the wiper arm?
try to put some squirters in your vent slits that way they are still hidden and shaved. i hope you wont be driving this much its a real bitch here in colorado during wet seasons.
i know my 93 grand prix had em,as did many of the 90's GM's...also available in the aftermarket for just about any vehicle, but they are usually a bit cheesy...when my truck was rolled,i lost a wiper arm...i replaced it with a GM arm...slightly longer than the toyota arm,but it fit and passed NY inspection,so you should be able to make the pisser work with little or no mods...they just clip to the arm... inside the vents is also a very good suggestion,i think
I have seen many a shaved cowls on our trucks. toyotafiberglass.com makes a fiberglass smoothie cowl as well.
I'm going to use the setup from a Toyota Estima van on my Corolla, will clip onto the factory wiper arms and is pretty subtle. Normally the Corolla squirts up through the cowl but mine is shaved. Not sure what they are called in the US but here is a pic - Callum
i had the predecessor to the Previa...known as the Toyota Van...this one isnt mine, but looks like it wish i still had it
78-81 celica's had arm squirters, but there is a passage on the wiper shaft the fluid goes through then comes out to a hose and goes back inside the arm, kinda nutty but has never leaked. would not be suprised at all if the celica stuff just bolts in.
