I just wanted to here your guys opinion on how it would look if i had a 2wd grille and everything else 4wd (bumper, valance, fenders, corner lights). Also if anyone has pictures i would appreciate it if you post some.

    Thanx

I think it looks pretty good. There's a bunch of options you can go with.

    Here's a 92-95 2wd grille with 89-91 4wd bumper/valance

Thanx those picture really helped me it made figure out how i am going to do mine. I noticed that some of the chrome boarder on the corner lights are thicker and some are thinner is that a certain year for the thicker lights?

the only thing i dont like about the 4wd front ends is the fender openings...... they flare the openings way too big (since they are meant to clear bigger tires and more suspension movement..... they dont fit the 2wd aimed wheel and tire size after it......... so i suggest to many people with the 89-94 era trucks to keep their 2wd fenders and flare them instead to clear.

this is what examples i have of trucks ive worked on with the 4wd front lower clips.

There is a slight difference between the 92-95 4runner and 4wd pickup corners. The top of the 4runner corners swoop back more.

Yea the 92-95 4runner corners are different than the 90-91 4runner and 4wd pickups. The way they mount to the grille is different too.

Any 4wd corners. Or 90-91 4Runner corners. Dnt use the 92-95 4runner corners, they wont sit flush with the grill

I know this is an old post but I thought I would ask here instead of starting a new thread for a simple ?.. I have a 2wd bumper, grill, an valance, would I just have to change to 4wd corner lights to swap over to 4wd fenders or is it more complicated than that?

Are the 4runner and the 4wd fenders different? Will the corner lights fit into either one the same?

Yea they should if i remember right. But if you get 4runner fenders might as well get the 4runner corners. Same price.

Get them from corresponding years if possible.

92-95 2wd grille looks sexiest, imho
92-95 4wd has the dip in the middle. also "taller" than the 2wd's. It's also wider. Match with 4wd valance of choice.

    What front lip?
If you're referring to the bumper and valance, he's using a 92-95 4runner bumper and valance with the corresponding turn signals.
