Hey guys I've been working on trying to loosen the locknut on the torsion bar just a little confused as to which way to turn it. Everywhere I look the write-ups or replies are always just loosen the locknut but dont bother saying which way you turn the locknut to loosen it. CW or CCW ? I just dont want it to snap off or find out I've been tightening it the entire time.

    Thanks

Righty tighty lefty loosey. You'll need 2- 7/8 or 22 mm wrenches. One to hold the lower nut up against the cross member and the other to turn the lock nut above it. Hold the lower and turn the upper clockwise as looking it from below to break it loose.

I usually find a spot to jam the wrench...like up against the frame, so I only have to worry about putting pressure on the jam nut.
