thats the plan man..... he's totally stoked about it. we're working on it any chance he has to so....... baby steps. :waytogo:

yup, gotta love the bumper "option" ideas back then....... they had to make em look good without the bumpers........ as bumpers were not required back then.... it was more of an after thought :D

we did run into a minor issue. the wheels didnt fit up front due to a lip in the casting on the front hub. the rears also did not fit over the hub center as the wheel tapers in. we are gonna use a set of 1/4" inch wheel spacers in order to clear this issue.

these rims are off a Nissan 350Z touring edition (years 06-07). they are a 18x8 front with +35 offset, wrapped in 225/40 tires. rears are 18x18-1/2 +33 offset (staggered) wrapped in 255/35 tires.

    correct.

thats his other toy..... thats his 90' on a 4 inch lift with 33's. they ride on 15x12 wheels so thats why the spare looks like a jet engine coming out the back

well, some progress did get made today as we sorted out a few issues. the wheels had some fitment issue so we tackled that as he aquired some 1/4" spacers to bring the wheels out some. wheels fit like a glove and looked better as they stuck out a bit more.

also on the to-do list was a set of half clear tails, and his turn signal/ backup light flip mod.

from what he shares.....he does plan on bringing it down somewhere around the tire tucking range so no worries...... that grand canyon of a gap between the tires and fender lips will soon close. just gotta work on getting it smogged. the whole exhaust system is rotted out and litterally falling off. we did however pickup a new (to him) flowmaster cat back system along with a few other odds and ends well on their way to making his truck a real trick ride. :waytogo:
