Well my clutch is just starting to slip abit, so it may be time to get a nice light weight fly wheel so far the cheapest is fidenza at 300 (9 pounds) has any one shaven there stock fly wheels and how much were you able to shave off the back side ??? stock is (25 pounds)
Some guy have that rib ring ground off the back it shaves some weight. Not as much as a light weight. And the LCE has a replaceable wear face if you find a used one.
Its probably is only about 5 pounds at most.. You could maybe talk to a machine shop and see if they've done it and how much it takes off
helll no fidezen is cheaper and I bet lce just renames it any way I just going to run stock 22rte cover with 6 puck clutch and that should be good
I don't know why anybody would want a lightweight flywheel our trucks I try to run the heaviest flywheel possible so as to keep the inertia up between gears and keeps your revs up
I've had my LC Pro Street EFI engine & all that goes with it for some time ,have a close to 30,000 miles on her now. Wouldn't change, it runs strong & great ,is very fast & cruses with ease!! In Aug I drove 1480 miles up to Summer Slam & back, cruised @ 80 all the time, except for a short blast up to 105! She can hit 140 with ease! If you can find some one running a light flywheel see if you can drive her & see what the difference is. Yes the 4x4 guys want a heavy flywheel! Not the 2x2!
well I ordered a fidenza now I just have to choose a clutch for it that can hold all these torq my truck will get from a ct26 to4e 57 trim upgrade
act is haven a black Friday sale so that's who I am going with Advanced Clutch Technology // Performance Clutch Kits, Clutches, and Flywheels
i talked to mike before at LCE and asked if he would price match the fidanza and he did... just went through them since he was cool about it. thats why i keep going back to them..
Im happy with my stock one but if i recall the celica 22re had a lighter wheel i tossed in the parts bin when i put the trans in my truck
