Ok so my buddy wanted to buy the kp components 6 link with a panhard bar for his c10. (Tht kits like $1100 or so) finally talked him outta it. An I got to thinkin an I was wondering if we did a 6 link like this if it work. Basically it would be a parallel 4 link with another set of bars goin reverse but triangulated how well do you think that would work?

i don't see that working very well..

the rear bars would need a dog bone in them to let the axle move up and down (like any 6 link). if the rears were triangulated the dogbones would have to be as well, and i could see that allowing the axle to move side to side.

I've never dealt with a 6 link before. Why do they need dogbones?

I gots no truck, for now
the dog bones take up the fight that would happen between the arcs of the 2 4 links...if i can find pics of my old setup ill post em., had a setup just like that on my silverado..

crap cant find pics... anyways the dog bones go between the rear 2 links and the axle, the longer the dog bones the bigger the rim you can lay on...
also mount the bags on the back bars and frame, makes mounting the gas tank and everything real easy.

    wish i could find pics...
