This is a question for those that have run the led tail lights. How did you like them? I'm going to be swapping beds back to stock and I want a little custom with the lights. I'm either going to run red/clear or the led's and was wondering if the led's were worth the cost.

    Thanks

I love my led red/clears. Plug and play and a clean new school look.

Do the led's have a flasher built in (to avoid the hyper flash) or would I need to get a special flasher.

Nope they are wired inside to prevent that. They would great. The only thing I changed was the reverse bulb but outside of that great buy for a newer look on our trucks

The taillights are all plug in play, mine had the resistors and stuff in external "boxes" that still fit in the taillight hole. The only issue with mine was that on the passenger tail light, two wires were switched from the company. Cut, match, crimp, done.

Anyone know if the led tails for the 89 will fit the 88? I would like a set for my 88, but can't find any that look like these.

completely different sizes, but i think if you had the will power and the know-how, it's possible.
