Well I figured since I already had a build thread on my 71 Hilux, and since I started working on it again I would start a thread on my first truck. My 93 2wd, std cab mini. I will post all the pictures since I bought it new.

The day I bought it new.

It's first wreck. A month or so after I got it.

    After the first rebuild.

Next I converted over to a 4Runner grill and headlights. I also added the Prime deuces, my first custom wheels for it.

The next modification was I added the 4x4 fenders and a Stillen airdam.

Next major step. I changed the bumper for a full chrome setup. I also changed to the TSW tri-stars and added chrome door and tailgate handles.

1996, it's second wreck and the worst one. This was so bad I had to get a whole new frame. Good thing it was fully insured, paid for it all. This time I decided to make some really major changes.

Hell yeah, full body color change. Lincoln Pearl Ivory, very nice.

After the transformation. It stayed this way for several years. Won so many trophies I lost count.

I actually did a few things to it after this. I had changed the carpet to black, and I added exd-cab buckets. I also had a suicide hood kit on it at one time.

Fast forward a few years to about 5 or 6 years ago and we get to wreck number 3. It sat unloved for quite awhile cause basically I had run out of money and had other projects distract me too. Lately I have gotten a new bed for it and have started it on the road back to recovery.

Yeah the bed looks like crap, but it was $50. I figure for that price I can deal with all the body work it will need.

So what are your future plans for it? Besides getting it back on the road.

That sucks it has been in 3 wrecks. That is poor luck. I do like the thread though.

Well All the obvious things of course. Full air suspension, Supra rear end, new wheels, new interior, full color change again and a drastically smoother body. I have lots of other small details but they are too many to list.

Dude I remember the days of primax wheels and tri mags. That thing has lasted you through the years, that's dedication. Is that your Cressida cause it's always posted by your truck?

Well that Cressida belonged to my best friend who was the vice-president of my club. We ended up selling me that Cressida several years later. Funny thing is now I have it up for sale.

That poor poor truck. Im glad it has an owner as dedicated as you or it probably would have been in the junkyard and crushed by now.

Thanks guys, thanks for all the nice words. Well it is special to me. My grandfather bought it for me with the money I would have gotten in his will. So I will forever hold onto it.

I also have a new update too. Here is the front end the will soon grace the nose of my truck.
