Only had my battery die once this winter. As long as I start it every week or so it's good. I have a little tender but I only use it when I need it. I worry about my battery boiling if I just leave it. I've heard of not leaving it on the ground and don't really understand the reason. Brought it up to people in the industry and they won't say its a major factor to failure.

I think that's one of those old myths, leaving it on the ground.. pun intended.. hahaha some ppl believe it to drain the battery. I use the tender on my seedoo speedster but it's on this cheap battery till first start.
