[IMG]This is certainly interesting. The crew at Kelly Blue Book has just announced their Best Resale Value awards for 2010, and of the top 10 individual models honored, three are of Toyota origin, including the recall-ridden 2010 Prius. The 2010 Toyota Rav-4 and Tacoma also made the cut alongside hardware from General Motors, BMW, Mini, Audi and Honda.

That fact led KBB to award both Toyota and Lexus the title of Best Brands for resale in 2010, which seems a little strange given the PR nightmare that both companies have endured this year on account of record-setting recalls. This marks the first year that Toyota has ever won the coveted Best Brand pick, and KBB says the choice was largely based on the company's reputation for dependability and quality. Needless to say, we're still scratching our heads on that one.

KBB also hands out a Best Resale Value award in each vehicle category, which can you view here, and we've listed all ten individual models that earned a Best Value Award below for your perusing pleasure.
