junkyard springs, taco springs?

    Truck:
    1973 Hilux
    Doesnt any one know if tacoma springs would be stiffer than my stock 73s? The metal from 73 im sure sucks because springs from a 85 300zx are BADDD... I assume the metal from whatever year tacoma I found would be good, they look about the same size. The tocoma is totalled in the rear.
