"low down legends" p-town vancouver area club, new on the map. they seemed like really cool people with minis on the mind, but they're open to everyone (drama free of course) www.lowdownlegends.com - Home check em' out if your in the area. "pork_taco_99" from customtacos.com is a member if anyone knows that guy.

now to just get the toxic toy rollin' so i can get my club logo on it.

I took a look at their site, they seam like a pretty laid back group of folks. Wish I could find a cool club like that here in Vegas. I have no idea where to even start unfortunatly.

Right on man. Freaks just voted me in last night, got 6 months probation. Should be FULL member next summer and I will be the 3rd in Idaho to have the FULL logo since my truck should be done by then and it wont be a daily, full show truck gets me FULL logo.

@ChickenTaco-- There is a huge chapter of Freaks of Nature in Vegas same with Severed Ties, Im sure there are more clubs, Id go to a local custom shop if there is one and ask them when shows are and who to talk to. I know the larger clubs have Websites with chapter contacts so FON and Severed would have a contact Im sure.

Whats the point of joining a club? I have been asked to join several off road clubs and refused because I couldn't figure out a benefit of it. I still hang out with all of them and attend club functions, attend meetings when I can and events with them but I don't run anyone's banner or pay any dues. Am I missing something?

The only clubs around here for cars/mini trucks are just annoying Hondas with fart cans and rattle canned interior. They are smart to not approach me.

not all clubs pay dues and some clubs that do , not all chapters are required to pay. sac freeks don't pay dues, but some other chapters do. low down legends also don't pay any dues, just pay for the window banner if you want it. but i guess if you have all the other bennefits of being in those other clubs without having to obligate yourself to any of the requirements of those clubs then i guess thats kinda cool too.... and yes some of those ricer clubs are a ridiculous joke-dont matter where they are from. (some of them aren't too bad i guess though-?-)

Its hard to find a decent club around here that doesnt have due fees and dont have to attend all the meeting and events. I have kids and a job that sometimes will conflict with it. Plus most clubs you already have to have it bagged or basically done to join. What happened to the old days were you joined a club so they can help you build a beautiful piece of machine. where people got together to hang out , drink some beers and work on there rides? Now a days it has to have certain mods done to it for it to even have a chance to be looked at. I dont no what happened.

I joined a club because I have low self esteem and wanted to belong! Not really... Same concept white trash explained is the reason I joined Freaks. I hang out with all the members here in town, I attend most of their functions and such but .. Only Members get member benefits, and there are quite a few functions only members can attend, and most shows anymore wont judge your truck unless your rolling with a club so thats my main reason for joining is for support and to do cool **** non members cant do. For instance Vegas club throws a Casino Pool party, rent out a pool at a casino, open bar..MEMBERS ONLY. Petty but hey at the same time why not join a club if you already chill with everyone plus I get a really cool window sticker thats cool.

Euro--Congrats on joining Freaks!! They're a good club! My chapter is really close with the Freaks chapter out here. We're always hanging out together at shows! You dont have to be bagged or have your vehicle show ready in our club. Just show dedication and the willingness to work on your vehicle. We're always helping each other work on our trucks or cars...

my friend is the president of majestics c.c. in casa grande, az. he said that a lot of people with rides that weren't finished joined to use the members to get their stuff built. then they bailed as soon as the car was done.

    thats part of the problem.

thats what i liked about what i saw at last weeks meeting with the "legends" few hours of kikin' it then off to the shop and adam's bed came off real quick to replace the pressure switch, then his deck got installed, then they were chasing wires throughout the cab, then it was after midnight and i live kinda far and had to work the next morning so i have no idea where they left off. and showing up to meetings is based on if you can attend, since like in my case i work most saturday nights when they meet, but was told that wouldnt be an issue and that they might even try to plan fo different days to meet up. and yeah every week might be a bit obsessive, but it might make us bond closer as a club.... who knows either way, but i'm really startin' to fall asleep here, which is appearent in my ramvlings since i ramble on and on the sleepier i get, so tonight i'm just gonna shut the eff up and go "face down" for a few hours before its time to get up and go thrash on the toxic toy so that i may be able one day (hopefully soon) to drive it to meetings, and to work, and to get groceries, and well... every fricken where. so until 2mrw, peace.

You never know! We now have a chapter in Canada, so it could happen!!
