I bought some JDM black altezza tail lights off of ebay and when i went to install them last night i noticed the mounting backet for the tail light and the tail light did not match. I figured i can grind the bracket down 1/4 of an inch and it will fit.
Has anyone ever seen this issue?

 

Wrong lights I've sold over 300 various altezza lights never a problem

 

I will take a picture tonight to explain the difference. They will fit if i put them in how they are but they will not line up with the body.
