Ok so my fuel gauge is not working. It reads below empty and it never moves even when the tank is full to the top. I have pulled out and changed the fuel sending unit in the tank so don't be telling me it is that. Also I have traced the wires from the tank and all the way up to the huge harness under the dash. But once it goes under the dash there is probably at least 70 wires in that area and it gets really confusing. I am wondering if the gauge in the cluster is grounded. Where exactly should I look for the precise grounding point? I also made sure the plugs behind the gauge cluster are fully plugged in. I don't believe there can be many possibilites left so I hope someone can tell me exactly where to look. Wire colours help too. Thanks.

Is the plug to the gauges damaged in any way? It could be ur gauge that went bad. Or the wiring sOmewhere near the gauges. The gauges ground thru the harness.

So then you are saying it pretty much can't be the ground because if it was then other things would not work too right?

It would be good to check ur grounds but if it IS the ground then im guna assume other gauges wouldnt work.

new sending units can be bad out of the box you know! but yeah, check for continuity throughout the entire wire....

do you have power at the connector at the sender in the tank? check there first, if ya got power there and you have an ohm reading out of the sender with the connctoer unplugged then its probably your gauge...

Wait does the "integration relay" under the kick panel driver's side have anything to do with the fuel gauge. Because it's in rough shape and 2 or 3 of the wires going into it are broken off. I think one of them is thicker gauge blue with yellow stripe. And a couple of thinner gauge.
