is it wise to put a body lift kit on a 2wd toyota

    Phils truck actually looks decent with it. Nothing huge... allowed him to fit bigger wheels on it too!

    Here is my 1980 with a 2 1/2" body lift and some cranked torsion bars.

    It has 4x4 front fenders,4x4 rear springs and longer shackles, this helps for tire size aswell. I can run a 31x10.5x15 with no rubbing, but find that a 30x9.5x15 is a happy medium.

    Also with your year of truck you can purchase Balljoint spacers for a little supension lift aswell. Or can be done on the cheap too, I did my body lift with Hard rubber boat trailer rollers from a swap meet for less then 10$........
