Came to the site to help restore my motivation and inspiration to finish my project. I really enjoy seeing the creativity of others and enjoy sharing mine. It's been a continous build since 1999, and most major aspects are done. Now I need to get it finished and operational so that when I get my lilcense back in 2013 (I'll be 50) I can cruise it to Cali and a tour of the Southwest. A large part of the problems I've experienced has been the poor quality of parts from some manufacturers and just trying to figure it out after the fact. It has gotten better, but cost much$$$. If all the pictures I downloaded make it on, you can see what I mean. One of the worst was the Camden Supercharger simply being defective out of the box and destroying my first motor. $5,500 and 3 years later and I am now figuring out how to tune it. LC Engineering is great, but they didn't deliver all that they promised, but then it is probable that I am one of a handful of people that has their Supercharger kit a carb. I suspect I got the prototype. In 2009 I finally bought a pair of Air-Zenith OB2 compressors for my air system, and did it ever solve a lot of problems. Simply put, the DC-5000 (Decrepit Crap) compressors were poorly designed and wore out too fast, causing a myriad of problems and much agony. The quality of products available for air suspension is way better today than in 2000. I'm going to look around some more and will try to share my knowledge so that others can learn from my mistakes.
